Terms of service
These terms cover PickCurb curbside junk removal bookings in Ontario. This is a plain-language draft summary and needs review with counsel before launch.
Scope of service
PickCurb collects approved items placed at the curb, accessible from the street, at the address and time window in your booking. We do not enter homes, garages, basements, backyards, or sheds, and we do not dismantle or disconnect anything.
Booking and pricing
Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and locked at booking. 13% HST is added. Payment is collected after pickup. If the pile is materially larger than described, we will send a revised price with photos before loading, and you may decline.
Cancellations and missed pickups
You may cancel or reschedule up to the start of your pickup window at no charge. If items are not at the curb or are not accessible when the crew arrives, the pickup may be treated as missed and a callout fee may apply.
Prohibited items
- Paint, solvents, oils, propane tanks, fuel, and other flammable or hazardous liquids.
- Batteries, asbestos, medical waste, and anything requiring special handling.
- Loose soil, concrete, and construction debris in loose form.
- Anything inside the home, or requiring entry to the property.
Photos and records
You agree that the crew may photograph items at the curb before loading for pricing, safety, and dispute resolution. Photos may be used internally and, without identifying details, for service quality.
Liability
PickCurb is responsible for damage caused by our crew's negligence during curbside collection. We are not responsible for items left at the curb that were not part of the booking, or for pre-existing damage to items or surfaces.
