Privacy policy
We collect only what a pickup needs. This is a plain-language draft and is written with PIPEDA-aware handling in mind; review it with counsel before launch.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email, and pickup address.
- Booking details: pile size or items, pickup day and window, notes, and promo codes used.
- Photos of the pile at the curb, uploaded with your booking.
- Basic technical and usage information from the site.
How we use it
To price and complete your pickup, to route and dispatch a truck, to send booking and status messages, to issue a receipt, and to answer support questions. We do not sell customer data.
Photos
Pickup photos are stored privately and are used to confirm pricing and to brief the crew. They are not published publicly.
Sharing
Booking details are shared with the local hauler assigned to your route, to the extent needed to complete the pickup, and with service providers who help us send messages and process payment.
Retention and your rights
Booking and payment records are kept as long as needed for tax and dispute purposes. You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing hello@pickcurb.com.
